When you buy factory-made black tiles, they suck the light out of a room. Our Rabat Black does the opposite. Because we start with unrefined Moroccan clay and hand-glaze every single piece, the surface naturally undulates. When it comes out of the kiln, that inky, deep black glaze actually catches and reflects the light, giving dark spaces serious depth.
We don't do perfect edges or uniform sizing. You’re going to get chipped corners, subtle pitting, and texture that feels raw. Stack these hexagons tight, and those intentional flaws are exactly what give a dramatic kitchen backsplash or a moody walk-in shower that custom, high-end edge.
